We have added a new feature where schools can decide whether to allow parents to create a new Parent-Initiated Form of the type that is already in progress.
Previously, parents were not allowed to create a form if it was already existing – they would be directed to the Manage Existing Forms page instead. This was intended to avoid duplicates of a form. However, we've come across many instances where parents had to submit multiple forms of the same nature (e.g. Student Leave Form, Bus Booking Form, etc.)
Our solution has been to add a new feature where schools can decide whether to allow parents to create a new Parent-Initiated Form of the type that is already in progress. This can be enabled during the template creation stage of the Parent-Initiated Form.

If the above parameter is set to 'No', parents will not be stopped while creating a new form. If it is set to 'Yes', they will be notified if they have already submitted a form or it is in progress.
By default, it is set to 'Yes' for all forms.
Please Contact Support if you have any queries related to Parent-Initiated Forms.
