You may have noticed that there is a new Notifications window, triggered by clicking the bell icon on the top right menu bar.It looks like this...

When the pop-up message appears, it is also added to the list of Notifications.

Notifications can be dismissed by clicking on the X to the right of each. Notifications remain in the list until dismissed.

The count/number next to the bell automatically increments when a new Notification is added, and decrements when a Notification is dismissed.

Click on a pop-up and it opens the Notifications list.

The Notifications include

  • A categorisation:
    • Imports
    • Exports
    • Workflows
    • Slips & Broadcasts
    • Forms

  • A priority:
    • Success – green tick
    • Action – orange arrow
    • Warning – red warning symbol
    • Information – blue information symbol

Design Update

The visual design of the pop-ups has been updated. The pop-ups are either:

  • Green = success. Something finished (eg. an export)
  • Blue = information. Something is happening but hasn’t finished

The previous red error pop-up has been changed to a static bar across the top. This addresses comments from users that, by using pop-ups which don’t remain on screen, they don’t get time to check out the error message.

The error bar can be dismissed with the X cross.
