Cloud Paper Group has a new Chair and new EdSmart management roles.

Cloud Paper Group – EdSmart's parent company – has a new Chair effective from 1st July 2021, replacing the outgoing Chair, Tim Fry. His name is Michael Brooks and he comes to us with extensive executive experience and enthusiasm for EdSmart's mission.

Michael's executive career has mainly centred on Foster’s Group/Treasury Wine Estates but he was recently augmented by roles at Exego Group (Repco) and Target (a division of Wesfarmers). He has also served on many internal boards within Foster’s Group over an extended period.
Michael has now transitioned to a non-executive career and is currently involved with three enterprises – viz: Chairman of a private timber and hardware business and Non-Executive Director of an innovator in the sustainable management and value-added conversion of consumer food-related co-products; and Non-Executive Director of a rapidly growing craft brewer.

Upon his appointment to Cloud Paper Group, Michael said, "I’d like to express my and the Board’s gratitude to Tim Fry for his service to the company over the past four years. Tim has agreed to remain as a director, and I look forward to his continued counsel and contribution."
After discussion with management, co-founders of EdSmart, Fiona Boyd and David Eedle, have agreed to adjust their roles. David is assuming the Chief Executive Officer position, so Fiona can focus her energy specifically on business development and sales strategies as Business Development Director. These role changes are also effective from 1st July 2021.

We look forward to the new possibilities these announcements will bring, as EdSmart moves into the next stage of its evolution.
