HolonIQ identifies the most innovative and promising education technology companies globally, and this list recognises EdTech startups across the Australia and New Zealand region that strive to transform the way the world learns.
The HolonIQ Education Intelligence Unit evaluated over 750 organisations from the region, powered by data and insights from their Global Intelligence Platform. They used a scoring rubric based on Market, Product, Team, Capital and Momentum to thoroughly assess each organisation and come up with their Top 50.
As the graphic below demonstrates, EdSmart is in good company.
As HolonIQ stated upon the announcement, "Given the historical strength in the use of technology in teaching and delivery, it’s not surprising to see many EdTech teams that are supporting institutions with education management, communication and analytics systems, as well as a strong focus on digital content solutions."
In commenting on the importance of the list in the current climate, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of HolonIQ, Maria Spies says, "The global EdTech market is growing at 16% and is conservatively expected to reach $404 billion by 2025. COVID-19 has accelerated the use of technology in all areas of education and, in particular, the B2B market as schools, colleges and universities seek digital solutions across all aspects of the student lifecycle."
Thank you, HolonIQ, for your recognition of the hard work of EdSmart's team in ensuring our contribution to the K-12 education sector is a valuable one.
