We are thrilled to announce that EdSmart has been nominated as an 'EdTech Cool Tool' under the Administrative Solution category of The EdTech Awards by EdTech Digest.

Celebrating its 11th year, The EdTech Awards is one of the largest annual contests hosted by US-based EdTech magazine EdTech Digest, recognising people and businesses in education for outstanding contributions in transforming education through technology.

EdSmart's cloud-based School Organisation System (SOS) has been nominated under the Administration category alongside other top performers like Abre and ClassLink.

In announcing the finalists, EdTech Digest's Editor-In-Chief, Victor Rivero, acknowledged that the global pandemic had pushed the education and training industry in staying more connected, persistent and productive despite ever-growing challenges.

EdSmart CEO, Fiona Boyd, admits, "COVID-19 was the unfortunate event that demonstrated to so many of our schools the importance of our platform. Our SOS can be an invisible, hardworker at times but, when it's needed most, that's when we get to shine."

"Being recognised as a finalist in The EdTech Awards helps drive us to do more," she continues. "It's an honour to be listed among these great technologies but we will never rest on our laurels. EdSmart's commitment to schools is to stand by them every step of the way."

The finalists in each category were judged on various parameters that included pedagogical workability, efficacy and results, support, clarity, value and potential.

We'd like to extend our warmest congratulations to all the other finalists.
