New Feature: Add Student Lists to sent Slips and Broadcasts
As part of our latest release, you now have the option to add Student Lists to a sent Slip or Broadcast! 🥳
From the Action button menu:
- Select Add Student, and a pop-up window appears for you to select one or more Students in the usual manner.
- Select Add Student List, the pop-up window allows you to select Student Lists to add to the Slip’s recipients’ list.
We have received many requests for this feature, so we know it will be a popular enhancement release. Thank you for letting us know what matters to you and helping us build a better platform.

EdSmart Intermediate Course is now ‘live’ on EdSmart Academy
You already know that using EdSmart saves you time. However, as with any tool, you need to know how to use EdSmart effectively to achieve your goals efficiently.
Many of us have already completed EdSmart Academy’s Foundation and Admin courses. Now, we have released our Intermediate course to the mix, so you can level up your EdSmart skills at a time that suits your busy schedule. You will learn:
- Advanced Template Designer features
- The time-saving features of Slips once they’ve been sent
- Creating and using School Form Templates
- Parent Initiated Forms (School and Parent experience)
- Extending EdSmart’s functionality with integrations
We’re in the process of making the course available to all EdSmart users through the Help menu, just as we have with the other two courses. Until its official debut within the platform, you can take a peek using this link*: EdSmart Academy Intermediate Course
*You must complete the Admin course first – there’s a lot going on in Intermediate!
